Bespoke Builds & Retrofit

Bespoke Builds

We support bespoke marine projects where standard solutions are not the right fit. Our in-house design capability allows us to develop practical, buildable concepts, refine details for manufacture and support the transition from design intent to finished vessel or component.

Where clients already have a preferred naval architect or design partner, we work closely with them to ensure the project benefits from both specialist design input and practical build experience. This collaborative approach helps reduce risk, improve build efficiency and deliver robust, operator-focused outcomes.

RAD Propulsion Retrofit & Electric Integration

We support retrofit projects for clients looking to transition existing vessels to RAD Propulsion electric systems. As an approved RAD Propulsion distributor, integrator and service agent, we can assist with the practical installation, integration and ongoing support required to help bring electric propulsion into operational use.

Our retrofit support can include vessel assessment, structural modification, mounting arrangements, equipment integration, systems installation and preparation for new power and propulsion layouts. Working closely with RAD Propulsion, we help clients move from conventional propulsion towards cleaner, quieter and more efficient electric operation with confidence.

The 8m fully electric workboat is a robust, double‑chined Deep V monohull designed by Vectis Marine Design Ltd, delivering a stable yet seaworthy platform ideal for commercial operations. Propelled by twin RAD40 drives and powered by 126 kWh of battery capacity, the vessel offers quiet, emission‑free performance with extended operational endurance and low maintenance requirements. Practicality is central to the layout: an offset port wheelhouse provides excellent visibility and protected operating position, while an onboard toilet enhances crew comfort for longer shifts. Built for efficiency and durability, this workboat combines modern electric propulsion with proven hull form to meet demanding coastal and harbour duties.
